How Far We've Come

Yesterday I heard that the gentleman who wrote the theme song (whistle) for the Andy Griffith Show passed away. It made me think about that show and the great lessons that it taught. Andy, Barney, Aunt Bea, Opie - all ready to teach us how to be better people. Then I get home and see a preview for 'Sex and the City - the movie'. As if we needed this trash made into a full length movie. My, oh my, how far we've come. And everything points to the fact that it is only going to get worse.
